UGV TAROS V4

The UGV TAROS V4 is an autonomous robotic vehicle with very advanced autonomous control and guidance functions, which allow the vehicle’s uninterrupted operation and deployment in complicated and high-risk environments and its performance of predefined task depending on the chosen superstructure. It also has many other specific potential uses, for instance monitoring of the perimeter of critical infrastructure (and other important structures) as well as their protection using lethal and non-lethal weapons systems.

Benefity UGV TAROS V4:

  • High variability allowing a wide range of use
  • Autonomous functions
  • Use in contaminated or otherwise high-risk environments
  • Substitutability and reduction of the risk of loss of live forces

UTILISATION OF THE UGV TAROS V4

It is assumed that the UGV TAROS V4 will be utilised in both the military and civil sectors. In the military sector, the TAROS V4 is chiefly intended to provide direct support during combat activities by mechanised reconnaissance and special units. It is capable of carrying out reconnaissance and potentially combat activities (depending on the specific type of superstructure) and also targeting enemy units and firing positions. The TAROS platform is also suitable for deployment and manoeuvring in high-risk areas, areas covered by enemy fire or where there is a probability of enemy IEDs being present, activated or deactivated for example, where it carries out high-risk activities, including combat, and draws the enemy’s attention. This protects the lives of soldiers, affords immediate information superiority over the enemy and assures combat support during operations.

Military sector:

  • Intelligence, monitoring, reconnaissance
  • Investigation, protection
  • Combat support
  • Transport, increasing the speed of operations
  • Disposal of ammunition

In the civil sector, we assume that this vehicle will be used by rescue services (fire brigade, medical workers, police) and also in the field of transportation, monitoring and detection, security, reconnaissance, collection of samples, inspection of tunnels and buildings, etc.

Civil sector:

  • Fire brigade
  • Emergency medical services
  • Police
  • Municipalities
  • Humanitarian organisations
  • Petroleum and gas industry
  • Agriculture
  • Energy and chemical industry
  • Airports
  • Private sector

LINKA-08

The LINKA – 08 combat equipment decontamination line is a system used by Chemical Corps decontamination units. In partnership with the ACHR-90M chemical vehicle, it roughly cleans the exterior surfaces of military equipment, sprays decontamination solutions and subsequently rinses these substances from equipment as it passes through the line, while meeting the requirement of rapid deployment of technical equipment by air. The washing equipment and spray frame can be adapted to the clearance outline of the equipment being decontaminated, so that the recommended distance between the washing/application nozzles and the surface of the equipment being decontaminated is maintained.
