The new director of VOP CZ, Mr. Ing. Vlastimil Navrátil, MBA, took up his position this week, the imaginary scepter was handed over to him by the interim director Ing. Martin Šturala, who returns to his original position as Technical Director.
“I would like to thank my predecessor, who temporarily led the company. He and his team have done a great job in a difficult situation and for that he deserves a huge thank you,” said Navrátil on taking up his post.
The new director’s priorities include in particular the stabilisation of the company’s personnel, improvement of the economic result and preparation for further strategic projects. Navrátil is a member of the Active Reserve, having served in the Multinational Battle Group in Slovakia as a senior officer in the Purchasing and Acquisition Department in 2023. “We have a lot of work ahead of us. The main task is to stabilize VOP CZ from an economic and personnel point of view. However, we must also focus on further development of strategic projects, such as the production of CV90 tracked infantry fighting vehicles, where the state enterprise has an important role as an integrator,” Navrátil noted.
